The STRAT is Born

It was a simple ask: Rebrand and elevate the Stratosphere’s perception among all generations, both visitors and locals. How hard could that be?

Unique brand positioning and brand identity was developed to delineate this property’s unique offering and major renovations, in addition to target audience identification, visual ID, and a rebrand rollout plan.

With a nod to history and the welcoming spirit of Las Vegas reinvention, we took this iconic brand into a new era, creating what is now The STRAT.

As the lead Creative Director on every aspect of this rebrand, I also personally developed and designed The STRAT logo that now stands tall on the Las Vegas Strip. Not many can say they’ve created an icon seen by millions.

The STRAT Photography

A key part of the brand launch was developing a library of fresh, contemporary imagery to highlight the transformation of the property. To capture the unique panoramic perspectives only The STRAT can offer, we brought in renowned New Zealand photographer Paul Ross Jones.
